The bar, attached to The Lord Crewe hotel, has been refurbished fairly recently and to a high standard. It is fairly food-orientated but drinkers remain welcome and the walled garden is both a sun-trap and a pleasant place to while away time after the rigours of visiting nearby Bamburgh Castle. One room is designated for those with "furry friends"
