Prominent white building at road junction with canopy and ironwork leading into single room with one bar counter but many different areas including dining, games, television and lounge-bar. All in the 'traditional Victorian' style though in a past life the building was famously The Blue Parrot nightclub reputedly the first in the North East. Handy for the preserved Tanfield Railway.
