Opened March 2012 with real ales for the first time and a stylish complete refurbishment after being closed and semi-derelict for 18 months formerly the Jolly Miller. The new name recalls the rural nature of the area in generations past. There is now a strong emphasis on food (much locally sourced) particularly in the lounge. The public bar (children not allowed) has pool table, dart board, television screens and sporting memorabilia on the walls. Piped music throughout. Regular live music at weekends. Sunday carvery. No longer serves Real Ale.
