Built in 1991, this family pub is near to Grangetown Sunderland on the ring road. The emphasis is on food which is served all day including breakfast till noon. There is a pool table tucked out of the way. There is a large car park with tables and seating. This can be a sun trap for most of the afternoon in favourable weather. Buses stop outside the pub. Note driving in from the north involves passing the pub then doubling back round a roundabout.
