This Pub is Permanently Closed

A large building on the main road, the Holly & Laurel was a Charrington's pub. In 1992 it became the Gourmet Pizza Company and stopped any pretence of being a pub. It was later sold to the free trade and in 1994 changed its name to Hollys, and sold a number of real ales. Today it is the Holly & Laurel Emporium and sells fireplaces amongst other items.
