This Pub is Permanently Closed

Subsequent to closure, Tesco have applied to convert the building for use as a shop. Large pub with lots of individual drinking areas. Games room and family room (TV). Impressive wood panelling in the bar. Early 2008, reported as trading only as a restaurant and B&B. One of the few pubs which can be relied on for selling an impressively good pint of Greene King IPA. (Dec 08) Tesco confirm rumours that they have aspirations to convert the buuilding into a 'convenience store'.
