Pleasant riverside village local with a wood panelled lounge and a pool table in the bar. The pub closed in 2023 and the locals developed plans for a community buy-out. However new owners have acquired the pub and the steering group for the community buy-out has been wound down. Re-opened November 2024.

The pub closed on the 6th October 2023. A community group (Wiggenhall and Saddlebow Community Benefit Association) was formed to explore the community purchase of the pub. In August 2024 a group of investors exchanged contracts to buy the pub, with completion to take place in early September. The Wiggenhall and Saddlebow Community Benefit Association was therefore wound up/
