A busy pub just off the North Norfolk Coastal Path on the edge of unspoilt expanses of salt marshes. There are timber beams, large fireplaces and plenty of nooks and crannies to explore with an enclosed garden at the rear. The interior has been tastefully renovated while retaining the atmosphere of the smugglers' inn it undoubtedly once was. Food is served throughout and there is also a large separate restaurant, and a more recent addition of an outdoor restaurant The Sail for al fresco dining. Accommodation is available in 16 rooms.
