This Pub is Closed Long Term

C17 Inn, with possible building origins dating from C12 and containing a number of interesting historical features, The Stag is reckoned to be the oldest pub in Devon. Flagstone floors, a large open fire, cosy informal eating areas.

Closed FEB-24, with no sign at present of re-opening. AN ACV is in place and a CBS has been formed to make a bid for the pub (NOV-25).

Dates from the 12th Century and reckoned to be the oldest pub in Devon.
