This Pub is Closed Long Term

A wonderfully quirky pub: possibly originally a country bungalow, now grown into an immaculate spread. All the rooms are cosily furnished and over decorated: cherubs, clocks and chamber-pots abound. On the right is the lounge, presided over by Terry the landlord and Albert, a blue-winged parrot; warmed in winter by a wood-burning stove. On the left is a sequence of dining areas, all immaculately laid for food. Shirley, the chef produces old-fashioned home cooked food; well regarded by the regulars. Note the restricted opening hours of The Old Brewers; also note that the pub sells logs.
