This Pub is Closed Long Term

Owner has stated that the pub is expected to reopen in December 2025. With the previous short-term developer/owner having left the building as a shell, returning the pub to community use is a major project.

Old Description: Stuart and Lynda are testament to what is achievable through passion and hard work at this splendid pub, which has been presented with numerous awards over the years. Guest ales come from carefully selected nationwide breweries. Beers will always include a mild. Excellent accommodation includes a superb breakfast. It is a cash only pub, with no debit/credit card facilities. The railway stops outside. Food is served; telephone for details. The pub is closed on Wednesdays except for the twice monthly music nights when it is open from 14:45 to 23:00
