This cosy, welcoming and popular pub is opposite the church, and serves two constantly changing beers. It is open plan, but with distinct seating areas, as well as tables to the front. Bar staff will happily ask your opinion of the beers, and chat about which ones have proved popular. A proper community local, close to the historic Cockfield Fell and associated industrial archaeology.
