This is a club, which means that the bar may be only open to members.
Built in 1791 as the local parsonage, the hall comes complete with resident ghost, 'the Pickled Parson'. Set in extensive grounds, ideal for a summer evening, this is a private club but CAMRA members are most welcome. There is a bar, comfortable lounge and large function room. Run by volunteers from the Sedgefield Community Association, it is used by a wide variety of groups. An annual beer festival is held on the first weekend in July with reasonably priced ale.
Please note, the club can close early at times if no patronage.
