Historic Interest
The Big Jug Public House is listed at Grade II and was originally a mid-18th century house with the ground floor converted into a public house in the later part of the 19th century. The building consists of three storeys and five bays with painted brick beneath a Welsh Slate roof and features late 19th century sash windows, floor bands, double-keyed arches, projecting stone sills. The rear wing is thought to be 17th century and timber framed.
