This large Marston's pub on the edge of Newton Hall housing estate has a busy yet friendly and very welcoming atmosphere. There is a strong emphasis on food, and up to four cask ales, all from the Marston's stable, are available. There is a pizza bar (pizzas are made on premises) and every Wednesday there is a quiz at 8pm. On Mondays there is a cask club when ale is sold at a reduced price. Breakfast served from 9am.
