A friendly local with an open fire at one end and a glass-fronted fire at the other helping to create a warm, cosy atmosphere. Two well-kept real ales always include one from a local brewery. Good-value Sunday lunches are served. There is a pool table. An excellent pub for walkers, handily situated adjacent to the Deerness Valley Way.
