Regular drinkers come from far and wide to the Ship. It has a bar divided into three distinct areas with an open fire, and a large function room upstairs which is the location for occasional beer festivals. The rooftop patio has spectacular views. Various pieces of Vaux memorabilia are on display - one of the many subjects of conversation. At least two cask ales available. A former Durham CAMRA Country Pub of the Year.
