Little gem in the picturesque village of Welbury. It has a long bar with open fires offering up to four real ales from local microbreweries. There are several rooms off the main bar serving as dining areas with reasonably priced food sourced from local farmers and markets. Stay in one of the five en-suite rooms.

Well known locally for its World Wellie Wanging Championship. Quiz Tuesday, Dominoes Wednesday and darts teams.The beers are a good variety LocAles- a brown session ale, a pale ale and an amber ale, all in good condition and knowledgeably served by bar staff. The food and welcome here is exceptional. The rooms are pretty and comfortable. The perfect 'weekend away ' destination for exploring the N Yorks scenery.
