This Pub is Permanently Closed

Now closed but previously taken over and run by local couple, Eve & Chris Potts. They say 'We rescued our pub from an endless stream of managers working for holding companies. Approx 27 of them in 8 Years. Initially I was asked to 'keep it open', whilst someone was found to manage it. Here we are, 9 months later, only popped out for a pint, had ten, came home with a pub! oops! Best decision of my life. We love it ! The support from our friends & customers has been a revelation, kind of restores one's faith in human kind. So far we are going from strength to strength, a rare exception to the rule, a pub on the up. Failure is not an option.'
