Traditional village country pub, built about 1754. Central bar with two large rooms and a 60 seater restaurant. The pub is named after Major-general William Goodday Strutt who served as governor of Quebec and died at Little Baddow. He was related to the Rayleigh Family who owned most of the land around the Baddow area. Log burner in bar area. Large restaurant area / function room can be hired for free with catering available.
