This Pub is Permanently Closed
Grade II-listed building. The L-shaped bar has a mainly wooden floor with seating at the bar and at tables and in alcoves. There is a separate pool room. Freshly prepared home-cooked food is served with a seniors' lunch club on Thursday. Children eat free for the Sunday roast. Quiz evenings are held every Thursday, with karaoke on Fridays and singers/groups on Saturdays. Voted most improved pub 2017 by the local branch. In current CME Recommended Pub Guide.
Initially closed in 2014, closed permanently and converted to a Chinese restaurant in 2017 (without planning permission).
