Very pleasant friendly local pub located on a shopping parade within a residentiaal area. just off the A135.

The pub is named after Sir Thomas Brown, knighted in 1743 on the battlefield at Dettingen, Baveria, as a Knight Banneret by King George II, and the last man ever to have this honour.
