This uniquely named micropub is situated within a Grade II-listed building and opened in July 2025. The fifth house is one of the 12 houses associated with astrology. In particular the fifth house is linked with Leo, and represents pleasure.

Promoted as the smallest pub in Teesside, bench seating and stools make it a cosy venue and where converstion with your fellow drinkers becomes the norm.

Friendly bar staff create a warm and welcoming ambiance.

Currently selling Almasty Green and Lost Pier IPA, besides four kegs, cider and non-alcohlol bottles. Always sells a keg stout.
