This Pub is Closed Long Term

This pub announced on the 8th September 2026, that it was permanently closing after 8 years of trading. When seen in October 2026, all its windows were boarded over!

The closure comes as the owner Stonegate Group repositions a number of Slug & Lettuce sites across the UK, shifting some venues over to independent operators under its Pub Partners division as part of a wider shake-up of the brand. However this site has been marketed for sale by Stonegate "For a new tenant, described as "an exciting prospect for an experienced operator looking to take on a high-profile bar and restaurant in a prime location."

***** Previous SLug & Lettuce Pub Description:

Situated at the end of popular Wind Street, in the heart of Swansea's city centre Bar and Nightlife quarter. This is a large cocktail lounge and restaurant set within a Tudor style building, with French doors that open, overlooking the adjacent Castle and Castle gardens. The décor is a tropical forest/floral theme. Popular with all ages, especially students, there is a full length bar on the ground floor and a smaller bar on the veranda style first floor, both with a very large selection of spirit and cocktail bottles on display.
