Please mind your head upon entering this delightful, friendly but small rural, thatched pub with very low beams in the main bar. In fact the traditionally tiled floor is actually now much lower (by about a foot) than it once was & is now below ground-level. A more spacious public bar can be noisier & also leads to a games room with pool table & darts. There is always an interesting selection of ever changing ales available & a garden to the rear of the pub offers a nice place to relax on sunny days. The bus stop is on the main road between Offton and Bildeston.
