A comfortable pub with beams and posts preserving discrete seating areas within a large open bar. It's family friendly with a strong local community focus. Sunday roasts.

Historic Interest

The 1904 Woodbridge licensing records show that the Barley Mow's license was issued in 1853. Whether this was when it was first licensed or when it got a full (ie not just beer) license isn't clear, though the latter seems more probable. A report in the Suffolk Chronicle** on Apr-10 in 1813 states that a Turnpike Meeting advertised to be held at The Barley Mow - Witnesham. A report in the Ipswich Journal*** in Mar 1880 states that : Died on the 26th at the Barley Mow, Witnesham, aged 68, Mr Robert Barber.
