This Restaurant is Permanently Closed

This is a restaurant, where drinking alcohol, including draught and bottled beer, is only allowed when food is being consumed.

Maltons was previously the Sow and Pigs pub, and it closed around Aug 2017. There were unconfirmed reports of a celebrity chef was interested in the venue, but it remained closed until December 2018 when it re-opened as Maltons Gastropub. The new refurbishment has lost the old "country pub" interior for a more modern clean look but the bar area is now more a diners reception area than a sit and drink bar. No longer a pub, its distinctly more a restaurant in its renewed appearance.
