This Pub is Closed Long Term

Set on part of the old Christies' brewery site by the market place in Hoddesdon, this Grade II listed public house offers a warm and friendly welcome, a separate games room & a patio garden area. Refurbished in late 2019, the name was changed from The Bell Inn. This is place is primarily a sports bar with three TV screens. Live bands on a weekly basis.

Bell Hotel briefly reopened in July 2025 as a Hotel and 1940s tea room retaining a bar and function room. However, due to ill health, maintenance issues and the delays caused before opening the operators have gone into administration. The pubs future is again uncertain.

Historic Interest

Grade II listed building on part of demolished Christie brewery site.
