Family run cosy village local with log fires and candlelit bars in a beautiful setting close to the Wolds Way. Its own brewery All Hallows is attached with Peg Fyfe mild, Ragged Robin and Mischief Maker among the brews. Freshly cooked meals are available every lunchtime, also Monday and Wednesday evenings. Outdoor seating is available and this pub is a multi award winning local Camra pub.
Restoration
This village pub is popular with walkers. There is a small seating area outside and Inside the pub has been made to look little-altered with three small rooms and quarry-tiled floors. It is cosy with log fires in winter and no music, TV or other distractions. On Friday evenings there will probably be a cooking pot hanging over the main fireplace. A small vintage motorcycle museum is accessible from within the pub. There are real ales from the area and from the on-site brewery. Meals at lunchtimes.
