This Pub is Closed Long Term

The Boot Inn is more of a restaurant with a bar area. They offer an exceptional range of International Cuisine, with the vast majority of dishes being home made, and by using only the most reputable suppliers. They are proud to boast ‘Probably the Largest Menu in the World’! Advisable to book a table as it is very popular

BUT

Now becoming run down as owners closed it and have been trying to obtain a change of use.

Meanwhile there is an active local group SNAP (Shipton Needs A Pub) that hopes to bring it into community ownership.

The pub has been closed since July 2022. A Community Benefit Society, Shipton Community Pub Ltd, has been registered to campaign to save the pub. The pub's owner is trying to sell it for housing development. The society has registered the pub as an Asset of Community Value, and as the pub is on the market for sale, a moratorium period was initiated in Jan 2015.
