Community local that is the home of many sports teams from the Holmbridge area. Four ales on handpull to complement home cooked bar meals. Four small areas (not separate rooms) furnished to a high standard around the bar that is in front as you enter: front left (with TV), front right (with TV), rear left (Grumpy Men's corner) and rear right with pool table. Can be difficult to find a table on Friday fish night.

As the Bareknuckle Boys it was listed in the 1979 National Good Beer Guide.
