Stone-built roadside pub located next to the river Aire. The main bar is at road level and has six handpumps predominantly serving Kirkstall Brewery beers with some guests. Additionally there are twelve keg lines which also include Kirkstall beers. An easy to miss snug is located behind the bar. Down some steep stone stairs and level with the rear car park/beer garden entrance is a second bar open at busy times. The disabled toilet is at this lower level and dogs are welcome in this bar (also allowed in top bar other than between 12-5pm). The walls of both bars are decorated with pub memorabilia, chiefly mirrors. Food is available from 12 through to late evening every day with booking recommended at weekends. An outside bar in the car park is open throughout the summer to serve the large beer garden next to the river. Events are held throughout the year and there is a quiz night every Wednesday from 8pm.
