Located on a corner site at the southern approach to the magnificent Piece Hall, this pub is conveniently placed on the hill between the railway station and town centre. It has a front bar-lounge with an area to the rear for pool and a pleasantly decorated lounge to one side. The pictures on display include bygone scenes, such as old views over Halifax, whilst high shelves contain plates, tankards and other interesting objects.
