This listed 16th century coaching inn, close to the Calderdale Way, stands opposite a 1737 reconstruction of a stone chair, once used by stagecoach passengers. Inside the pub, there are two upstairs rooms next to the bar, as well as a downstairs function room (also used as a quiet room), which has a separate outside entrance.

A modern interior throughout that is amenable to diners and drinkers. Plenty of outdoor seating, some of which is covered.

As well as various theme nights, the pub's pool team enters into the local league. Other entertainment consists of live music, pub quizzes, discos or karaoke and a large screen television. Under new management so please check details with pub
