Winner of several national awards, with large car parks front and rear, beer gardens and swings, slides, climbing frames, and 3 real ales. The oak beams used in the building were rescued from the sailing ship, ”Clarendon”, after which the adjacent hotel was named and the panelling on the bar from another wreck, the “Varvassi”. The pub is enormously popular with locals and visitors, due mainly to its reasonably priced menu and location close to picturesque beaches and tourist attractions. The re-design of the bar has now taken advantage of the stunning views towards the sunset and Freshwater Cliffs. Well worth a visit. May close earlier winter Mondays. Open for breakfast but bar service starts from 11am.
This Pub serves no changing beers and 3 regular beers.
