This Pub is Permanently Closed

The Globe Tavern - not to be confused with another Globe which stood in Northfleet's High Street until 1915 - was a street corner local that traded from 1869 until 1976. The photographs, courtesy of www.dover-kent.com, show that the pub was successively part of the Russell's and Truman's tied estates.

The wrecking ball arrived soon after closure and housing now adorns the site.
