The Bel Air Inn is located at the top of Harbour Hill, a 750m walk during which you'll gain 80m of altitude. For the less energetic, ride the “toast rack” towed up the hill by a tractor. No cars on this island.
This is a friendly pub popular with both tourists and local residents. Interior walls are decorated with local history and maritime pictures. Two hand pumps serve a changing selection of real ales, and a real cider. Open all day every day, with pizza available from noon until late to eat in or take away.
Off licence sales available, including a number of bottled ales, with delivery service if required.
There is a large beer garden and courtyard where food and drink can be enjoyed on warm days. During the summer, barbecues and live music feature at the weekend. Dogs are welcome. Cosy fire in winter.
