Reopened in March 2018 after a two year closure, having been extended and refurbished. Two traditional style rooms at the front with floorboards: bar with servery on the left and small separate lounge on the right. Extended at the rear to form a large restaurant. At the back is a small patio and garden. The RedCat Pub Company acquired the pub in 2021. The range of local beers usually includes a Langton beer, and the pub is popular for food. No scheduled bus service to the village.

Historic Interest

Previously owned by the Lichfield Brewery Company Limited, which ceased brewing in the 1930s.
