Set in seven acres of gardens it has high quality accommodation in the original house and in lakeside rooms. There is a conference centre with syndicate rooms.
Hot dishes are served from 10am to 10pm and there is a choice of restaurant or lounge dining or bar food. Afternoon tea is also available.
While this is something of a bar for residents, the bar is open to the public and boasts a solitary hand pump serving cask Bitter from Lees of Middleton. Cask ale is only intermittently available.
