Pub contents observed being moved to skip Friday 11th July

Became a Freehouse in September 2010 but still serves Robinsons beers.

Old-fashioned, friendly town local serving Robinsons Beer, and one Guest Beer, with four comfortable rooms and central bar. Pub games popular with skittles in one room, darts and pool in another. Big screen TV, open until 6pm on Sunday if game is shown.

In the 1860s it was a ginger beer brewery.

Open Sunday 12-6 if football is being shown.
