An unspoilt country pub that has had significant renovation in 2025 when the bar and restaurant were extended. The bar has exposed beams and is warmed by two log fires and a stove. The large orchard garden catches the evening sunlight. Well-behaved dogs are welcome. Good food is served. It is a 15-minute walk from the Cross-at-Hand (No.5) bus stop on the A229 road
