This Pub is Permanently Closed

A two-bar local on the A26 Tonbridge Road, with the rear bar devoted to games. A comfortably furnished main bar at the front has much nautical memorabila around including a portrait of Admiral Gordon. It is named after Rear Admiral Sir James Alexander Gordon KCB who had served with Nelson and is thought may have been, in part, a model for C S Forester's hero Horatio Hornblower.
