This Pub is Closed Long Term
The Grade II listed Griffin Hotel was built in 1905 for the former Oldfield Brewery Ltd. (note "OB Ld" above the central window). It has been substantially altered internally over the years, with the original central bar/two room layout replaced by an open plan layout, whilst still offering a number of distinct drinking areas. Reopened at the end of November 2012 after a period of closure, and substantially smartened up inside. **Cask not always available**
