In a residential area just 15 minutes walk from the town centre, the Brocket is also a J D Wetherpoon Hotel.

The interior is large, open plan with two bars and intimate booths. Two conference rooms are available for private hire. Guest beers are always featured together with the usual food menu. There is a patio area to the front with bench seating.

Fundraising events are often held for various charities.
