This Pub is Permanently Closed

Canal-side pub built in the late 18th century at the same time as the Loughborough Canal. It has a bar, darts room and quiet lounge, and outside the patio has an aviary. The house beer, Albion Special, is supplied to the pub by the local Wicked Hathern Brewery. Care should be taken if driving to the pub along the tow path. Now closed with lower floor being converted into flats.
