South of The Ashby road.This pub is now a free house. Reopened in February after a refurbishment. Log fires. Two rooms for let. Focus on real ales; lunchtime and evening meals served with Thursday being Pie night (phone to book) and Friday - fish and chips.

Sunday lunch tends to be very popular, so booking in advance is advisable.
