An impressive Wetherspoon conversion of the former Savoy cinema and named after the man who designed it. Many original features have been retained and restored including some of the seats which fold up when you stand. At the back, past the dart board, there is an lounge upstairs leading to the beer garden. There are boxes on each side and the pub is watched over by models of movie goers sitting in the balcony.
Alcohol is available from 11am.
