This charming inn, located just over the 'Bridge over the Atlantic' is worth a diversion off the A816 to visit. The rustic wooden interior has an L-shaped counter with an unusual high bench seat (the Perch). Two handpumps (one in winter) serve Scottish ales. In summer the garden and patio are a delight. A door by the bar leads from the 19th century to the 21st with a modern dining area. Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays and other opening times can vary - phone ahead.
