This central Wetherspoon pub takes its name from the ironworks which previously occupied the site until the 1960s. A wide range of cask ales is available which is shown on blackboards at each end of the bar. Seating is split into two parts, with wooden fencing separating an area more suited to dining from the lively bar area. Motherwell’s past is illustrated in the prints lining the walls. These depict long-gone industries and the town's labour and trade-union heritage.
Alcohol is available after 11am.
This Pub serves 2 changing beers and 3 regular beers.
