This Pub is Closed Long Term

This pub stands on the site of former Charing Cross and West Parish Church, in the centre of Grangemouth. Built in 1883/4 by the Free Church of Scotland, the church was originally named the Zetland Free Church, after its patron, The Earl of Zetland. Excellent conversion to a pub by JD Wetherspoon which opened on 25 February 2008 of the church in the town centre. The pub changed ownership early May 2016 when it was bought by Hawthorn Leisure. Ample seating, either at tables or in pew booths, is provided allowing the ecclesiastical features such as the organ pipes above the bar and stained glass windows to be enjoyed while savouring your pint. The permanent beers are supplemented by two guests midweek and up to four at the weekend. TV's screenmajor sporting events with news channels on silent at other times.
